Terry Hollan

Managing Partner

Mr. Hollan entered the life settlement industry in 2004. Initially, he was an investor and later on he became the owner/manager of Life Investors Management Company. His philosophy is simple: negotiate a sensible acquisition price likely to yield the best result with the lowest economic risk. The model that LIMC has developed produces steady higher returns with lower administrative costs than most companies within the industry.

Mr. Hollan’sbusiness acumen extends similarly to other investment sectors including: oil and gas ventures, aircraft finance, air ambulance services, commercial real estate development and management, and even sports and athletic management. Mr. Hollan is credited with the development of THE LAKE HUITES and LAKE BACCARAC LODGES, two world-renowned fishing destinations.

Mr. Hollan, an Amarillo native, became an accomplished pilot, partly from a business necessity, but mainly from a love of the open skies. He enjoys the freedom of flying and now makes his home in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Hollan’s vast investment experience and life settlement knowledge is evident in the continued success of LIMC.

Dirk Davis

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Davis has a long standing successful career in the banking industry, having served as President and CEO of community banks in Texas. He also chartered and opened a bank in Southlake, Texas in 2006.

Mr. Davis held his Texas life insurance license, as well as, a Securities 6 and 7 licenses.

Throughout his career in banking or entrepreneurial ventures, he has placed a high value on servicing his clients with a genuine relationship. His experience in evaluating and understanding risk, operational management, and investment knowledge, add a significant level of skill to the LIMC team.

Jeff Lipschultz

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Lipschultz has held a large spectrum of roles in management overseeing teams in sales/marketing, operations, program management, process improvement, and engineering. He has worked at Fortune 500’s like Motorola and BNSF Railway, but also at small start-ups, running all its operations

Throughout his career, Mr. Lipschultz has been focused on delivering quality products and services to his clients, internal and external. Through collaboration within his teams, he has been able to provide an effective approach to problem-solving, decision-making and ultimately total client satisfaction.

Mr. Lipschultz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering along with two Master’s degrees: Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.

Jon Melehan

Senior Account Executive

Mr. Melehan started his career in financial services at Morgan Stanley in 2010 where he spent eight years in various leadership roles. Mr. Melehan oversaw sales strategy for Morgan Stanley throughout North Texas and was responsible for assisting financial advisors with portfolio optimization, asset selection, and diversification for special client situations. Prior to his role in Texas, Mr. Melehan managed Morgan Stanley’s Mutual Fund sales desk and product team.

Mr. Melehan has extensive experience working with the institutional and asset management community and has held his series 7, 66, and Texas life and health insurance licenses.

Prior to his career in financial services Mr. Melehan served our country as a United States Marine.

John L. Hinds, III

Executive Sales Manager – New Orleans

Mr. Hinds has over thirty-five years of experience in the business and estate planning areas. He also was an insurance agent for nineteen years specializing in the estate and business markets locally in New Orleans and throughout the United States.

After spending years of building an immense clientele, John decided to focus his talents on those areas he enjoyed the most. In 2000, he formed Business and Estate Solutions, LLC, a consulting practice that is fee-based, rather than product-based.

Mr. Hinds has a Master’s degree in Education. His credentials include a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), and a CFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).

Centered in the New Orleans area, John is a valuable partner and associate of LIMC. His insurance expertise and client resources continue to be an essential part of LIMC’s success.

Barnabas Chapman

Operations Manager

Mr. Chapman has over ten years of bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation experience. He plays a vital role in the management of polices and investor relations.

Toby Tarango

Operational Assistant

Ms. Tarango has high quality experience as an operational assistant in the field of education and the automobile finance industries, bringing fifteen years of valuable skills to LIMC. She excels in customer relations, vital to LIMC’s customer service model.
